DeNiroBootCo Open Derby leaders
Following the first section, the leader of the €58.000-added IRHA-IRHBA-NRHA and €48.160-added IRHA-NRHA L4 Open Derby qualifier was NRHA Professional Manuel Cortesi aboard the Arcese/Cuoghi owned stallion, bred by the latter, July Joe Snap (Master Snapper x July Jo Magnetic). The duo, who scored a 227.5 for the lead following section two, has already made history on European soil by winning the 2022 IRHA Futurity Open, the 4-year-old IRHA Futurity Open, the 2024 NRHA European Futurity Open, and the NRHA Germany Breeders 4-year-old Futurity Championships.
Riding to the top score in the €19.336-added IRHA-IRHBA-NRHA L3 and €16.054-added IRHA-NRHA L3 Open with a 222 score was Giuseppe Prevosti riding Gunners Princess 66 (NRHA Two Million Dollar Sire Inferno Sixty Six x Princess Sand), a mare bred by Markus Perathoner and owned by Kairos Quarter Horses.
Two riders tied to lead the €11.118-added IRHA-IRHBA-NRHA L2 Open with a 218.5 score: Christian Dalla Pozza riding Jerry Show Step (Wimpys Surprised Chex x Red Dun), a stallion owned and bred by Ambrosini QH, and Filippo Paris aboard Oak Lilith Sixtysix (NRHA Two Million Dollar Sire Inferno Sixty Six x Genuine Benito Pap), a mare bred by Daniel Moro and owned by Maria Cecilia Fiorucci.
Topping the leaderboard in the €9.231-added IRHA-NRHA L2 Open division was France’s Clemence Neveux who rode to a 219 with Philippe Castel’s 5-year-old gelding American Sparks (Rooster Sparks x Rowdy Brinna) bred by Jayden Jeffcoat.
The €8.217-added IRHA-IRHBA-NRHA and €6.823—added IRHA-NRHA L1 saw Alessandra Ischia and Xtra Pistolforwimpy (NRHA Thirteen Million Dollar Sire Wimpys Little Step x Ruf Pistol) perform to a 215.5 to take the lead in this division. The sorrel stallion was bred by Smart Like Juice Inc. and is owned by Indal Srl.

The Italian Equestrian Sports Federation (FISE) Italian ‘Debuttanti’ Championship Finals featuring the Entry Level Youth Bis, Green Level, and Short Stirrup for riders who qualified in 2023 will start at 8 a.m.
Following the prestigious FISE Finals, at 12.30 p.m. the NRHA Open/Intermediate Open/Limited Open are scheduled to take place.
