In the $26,579-added L2, Jeffrey Touroute-Thomas rode Alexandre Giarratano’s The Electric Bandit (Don’t Miss My Guns x Electra Stop Ruff) to top the division with a 281.5. With the flashy palomino between the reins, the French Professional boasts the 2021 ARHA 3-year-old L4 and L3 Open Championships.
Luca Piccolo and Spooknic Smokin (Nu Spooky Chex x Leavem Smokin) rode to the $12,758-added L1 top score.
NRHA Million Dollar Rider Ann Fonck, riding Lenka Lukackova/Simone Zen’s PL Miss Gotta Whiz, took top honors in the Italian Quarter Horse Association (AIQH) 3-year-old L4 Open. Top score in the L2 division was for Mauro Vecchiutti riding his own Red Tinker Jaba (Jaba Oak x Eskimo Lena).
On Wednesday, November 17, the second go round composite score of the Open Futurity will determine the finalists who will make their way to the Finals on Saturday, November 20.
The CremonaFiere oval arena will welcome the first finals of the FISE/IRHA Italian Championship presented by ELEMENTA on Tuesday, November 17.
